Costumes & Cosplay

ALL period arms and weapons displayed while in costume (including swords, daggers, maces, arrows, replica guns, etc.) must be secured or “peace tied” within a sheath/holster and may not be wielded at any point and time within the festival. Any exposed blade or point must be dull or stage combat grade. Plastic, foam, wooden, and other toy weapons are not required to be sheathed/peace tied, however they are not to be brandished in any way that can harm another guest or employee. Replica guns are also required to be peace tied within a holster and never drawn while in the event. Staffs, wands, and sticks are not required to be peace tied, but they must also be handled in a manner that ensures the safety of other attendees and event employees. Squirt guns or water guns are not permitted.

We encourage our guests to immerse themselves in the full Renaissance experience by dressing in costume. However, any offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate attire will not be permitted on the festival grounds.

ADA Accomodations

Yes, there is a dedicated ADA lot right next to the North entrance.

Items that assist with guests’ mobility and health are permitted, but it is important to be aware that, while there are paved/gravel pathways around the lake and other sections of the park, majority of the park is grass. Please be aware of any limitations this may pose to mobility equipment.
