When are the dates and times for the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival?

Where do I find the vendor application? How do I get on the vendor list?

• Vendor application will be open on mid to late July. Information on vendor application is available on website under Vendor link.
  

Would you do a field trip school discount?

• Friday is a free school day. For information on the School Packet, please email EventInfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
  

How does my class, school and/or homeschool receive a School Packet?

• For information on the School Packet, please email PRSpecialEvents@clarkcountynv.gov.
  

Is there a minimum number of students and adults needed to participate? 

• No minimum will be required.
  

Are both students and adults admitted free of charge that day and does this apply to homeschool?

• Friday is a free school day. For information on the School Packet, please email EventInfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
  

What is the busking policy?

• No outside busking allowed. All the performers are hired in advance and approved by management. If you are interested, you can email PRSpecialEvents@clarkcountynv.gov.
  

What steps are being taken to ensure overcrowding doesn't occur?

• Capacity is limited to 25k people in the park at once.
  

What age do children need to be where they required to purchase a ticket?

• 6-12 require a Children’s ticket. Children under the age of 6 are FREE!
  

Are there any discount rates for tickets?

• We do not offer a discount rate for tickets. We will be implementing a Military discount that will be the same price at a Child/Senior ticket price.
  

Are there any discounts for Clark County employees?

• There is not an employee discount. However, there is a Free Friday, where admission if free for the day.
  

How does a new guild could join your event? 

• We are not accepting any new guilds. You are welcome to send in your request to get on the waitlist. Please ensure to outline what you do as a guild, how much space you request, activities you will offer, etc. The more details you can provide along with photos, the better your chance (once we have anything available)
  

Are there any volunteering opportunities?

• We do not have volunteers positions available.
  

Are professional photography cameras allowed at the fair?

• Any professional media must contact our PR Agency: A-Max Marketing + Media for prior approval.  You will be able to find their contact information under the media link on the website.
  

Would we be allowed to bring in our own food and beverage for personal use/not for sale?

• No outside food and beverage will be allowed during the festival apart from camping. Camping is allowed to being outside food and drinks, but it must remain in the campgrounds.

Are animals allowed at the renaissance festival? 

• Animals are not allowed unless they are part of the hired shows or service animals.  
  

Are there discount hotels for participants this year?

• There are not any hotel deals have been set up by Clark County.
  

What is the age for Senior tickets?

• 60+
  

Are reading material, "promotions”, and business cards allowed?

• No unauthorized vending or solicitation will be allowed on site.
  

Discount for teachers?

• Friday is a free school day. For information on the School Packet, please email EventInfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
  

Is there ADA parking available?

• Yes, there will be dedicated lots for strictly ADA parking.
  

Are there weddings at the Ren Faire?

• We no longer offer sanctioned weddings at fair.
  

Are drinks allowed at the event.

• Sealed water bottles are allowed at the event.
  

Are suits of armor allowed to be worn at the event?

• Yes, patrons are allowed to attend in costume.
  

What kind of props are allowed for costumes?

• A sheathed and peace tied homemade titanium sword.
• A non-peace tied foam sword.
• A pewter tankard will be allowed, but it must be empty.
  

Are there advertising opportunities available for purchase?

• Yes, please contact PRSpecialEvents@clarkcountynv.gov.
  

Are permits or media passes required for to take photographs?

• Yes, all requests must be submitted to our PR Agency, A-Max Marketing + Media, for prior approval.  You will be able to find their contact information under the media link on the website media requests for prior approval.
  

Are musical instruments allowed?

• No outside instruments will be allowed by the public, unless you have been contracted by the event.
  

Is reentry allowed

• Reentry is not allowed for single day passes. However, it is allowed for 3-day passes, Royalty passes, and camping guest.

Are pets allowed?

• Absolutely no pets are allowed. This includes dogs, cats, birds, snakes, ect.

What is included in the Royalty Package three day pass?
The Royalty Package includes admission for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and both an event T-shirt and poster.

 

CAMPING QUESTIONS

Are all the preferred plus camp sites first come first serve?

• Requests can be made, based on availability, however first come first serve typically how camp sites operates.
  

Is camping available for vendors?

• Yes, camping is available for purchase by all event goers.
  

What is the size of preferred camping?

• Preferred camping is accommodating to a “6-person tent”, approximately 5ft of frontage space from your tent door.
  

Does the yurt come furnished or would we be responsible for furnishing the yurt?

• Standard YURT rental comes unfurnished.
  

Do the yurts have a bottom to them to prevent bugs and protect from the weather?

• Yes, all yurts have ground liners.
  

Can we cook on our campsite in a contained fire?

• Yes, only on propane grills.
  

Are restrooms available? If so, are there showers?

• Portable restrooms are provided for campers. There are no showers onsite.
  

Is a propane or charcoal grill allowed? 

• Only, propane grills are allowed.
  

Is parking included for camping? If so, how many spots may can a camp reservation use?

• Yes, there is a camping parking lot. There is one parking spot available per each camp reservation. All the details can be found online under camping section.
  

Is there a limit to how many campers can sleep on a site?

• Yes, camper limits are based on the camp package reservation.
  

Do campers have their own entrance for passes and/or guests with tickets?

• Campers have their own entrance for faire but must have proper credentials.
  

How can I rent a campsite in one of the villages for the 2023 Ren fair? 

• Camping is designated to a specific area just outside the event area. We do not offer camping within the event perimeter in any village.
  

I know it says we can bring one bottle of water. If we have a canister that holds 32 oz or 40 oz, is that okay to bring?

• Yes, canisters filled with water are allowed. Security will be checking bottles.
  

Can we bring in a wagon?

• Yes, wagons are allowed.
  

Is there parking available for RVs?

• There are spots preassigned areas for RV camping. However, if RVs are being used for unloading, parking is available, though we have no dedicated oversized parking.
  

Are oxygen tanks allowed in my yurt for camping?

• Yes, if medically needed, oxygen tens are allowed.
  

What size are the sizes of camping spots?

• Depends on the type you purchase. All the details can be found online under camping section.
  

How many people are allowed to camp on the site? 

• Camp sites have limits. People with camping wristbands are allowed. No outside guests will be allowed.
  

Are small charcoal grills allowed?

• Only propane grills are allowed.
  

Are children allowed if they are accompanied by parents?

• Yes, children are allowed in the campgrounds.
  

Are generators, a chest with a lock, and a space heater allowed?

• Yes, but generator usage is limited to daytime only and must be inverter unit.
• A chest with a lock is allowed, but Clark County is not accountable for any lost or stolen items.
• Space heaters are not allowed.
  

I use a mobility scooter; Will this be an issue?

• NO issue, but note: ADA pathways are limited, and majority of the campground and event are on unlevel grass fields.

What are the differences between Bell Tents and Yurts?

• Bell Tents includes:
• Three [3] night stay in a pre-assembled 12-foot bell tent.
• [4] 3-day passes, [4] festival t-shirt vouchers, [4] festival poster vouchers.
• Earliest access to campground beginning on Thursday at 12pm.
• Access to the private campground including designated potties, private entertainment, and exclusive meal options.
• [1] parking pass for the designated parking lot adjacent to the campground.
  
• Yurt Camping includes:
• Three [3] night stay in a pre-assembled 12’x12’ glamping yurt.
• [4] 3-day passes, [4] festival t-shirt vouchers, [4] festival poster vouchers.
• Earliest access to campground beginning on Thursday at 12pm.
• Access to the private campground including designated potties, private entertainment, and exclusive meal options.
• [1] parking pass for the designated parking lot adjacent to the campground.
  

How do campers receive their wristbands?

• There will be a QR code sent per campground. When campers arrive to the park, they will present their QR code and then receive wristband for everyone.

How can I get the Military discount?

• The military discount, $5 off Single Day Pass, is only available at the door. Please note that ID is required for the discount.
