As you wander along the winding paths from one themed village to another, be sure to pause at the encampments, try your hand at a game, enjoy the sharp wit and charm of the gatekeepers, or catch an unforgettable performance that will leave you entertained. ADRIAN EMPIRE
Location: Mercenary Narrows
Recreating Western Europe from the years 793-1625, the Adrian Empire strives to reproduce this historic era through costuming, props, needlework, and even cooking and metalworking. The guild also features historical fighting demonstrations, archery, ballista firing, and Western martial arts.
ARAGON
Location: Royal Court
Within the great halls of this Russian royal court, you will find the mighty Varangian Guard, Ivan the Terrible, Empress Anastasia, and the regal presence of the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival king and queen. Throughout the grounds, guests enjoy games inspired by eras ranging from the Bronze Age to the Renaissance, bringing history to life.
On the Field of Honor, Aragon Empire also hosts the Blood of Heroes — a fierce and thrilling tournament where teams from across the realm compete in medieval combat for the glory of their people.
BATTLEWOLF
Location: Barbarian’s Bourg
The Battlewolf is an armed, privately-owned vessel loyal to whomever is the highest bidder. This crew of privateers and mercenaries of the sea is a hardened crew few dare to cross! In times of war, the ship specializes in the capture of enemy merchant ships; in times of peace, they are said to discreetly transport precious cargo of any questionable origin. No job is too small, and no fee is too high!
BLACKSHIRE COMPANY OF THE SWORD
Location: Hawick Village
The Blackshire’s Company of the Sword portrays Stoddard’s company of Foote, based on a trained band of 16th century English militia. Join this enthusiastic company as they teach about the pike, one of the most important weapons of a militia, and its history of combat. Witness the ways that pikes can be used and learn all you can, for who knows when you may have to join a militia and fight on the front lines?

Founded centuries ago by battle-hardened veterans, this secretive organization operates on a strict code of honor and discretion with unwavering loyalty to their contracts. Skill and dedication are the only criteria for acceptance in this ruthless band of mercenaries.
CLAN DARKSAIL

This group of royal French privateers is one of the largest improv acting troupes of pirates for hire in the Southwest United States. For nearly two decades, Clan Darksail has entertained thousands at Renaissance fairs with their exemplary powder shows.

DOGS OF WAR

This group of barbarians hails from all the lands most would consider uncivilized. They are dedicated to fighting to defend their freedom, plunder only what they need, and will bow to no one. Where diplomacy fails, blades and strength will prevail. The Dogs of War say, live free, and die well. They will not back down and will always aim to survive any battle thrown their way!
DRUNKEN MERMAID

Join the patrons and workers of the Drunken Mermaid for fun and revelry! This guild is based on the historical tavern, The Sign of the Mermaid (est. 1685), from Port Royal, Jamaica. Be transported to the Golden Age of Piracy and witness the lives of privateers, pirates, and their associates!

Learn about European geography and history between 800AD and 1650AD! Specialized in the preservation, collection, interpretation, and distribution of historical data, this guild is dedicated to performative education with reenactments and demonstrations.

HOBBITS OF THORNGROVE
Location: Hawick Village
The Hobbits of Thorngrove is a fantasy performing troupe that brings to life aspects of 18th century homesteading. With their hand-built hobbit homes, lively demonstrations, and whimsical tokens of luck, patrons can immerse themselves in a Shire-like setting that makes anyone feel like a true Proudfoot. Patrons can learn historical skills from the guild’s fun and high-spirited cast and even have a chance to take some handmade goods home!
HOUSE OF SCREAMING BANSHEE

The House of the Screaming Banshee is an educational guild focused on the artisan crafts and lifestyles of the seafaring people during the Renaissance Era from the16th and 17th centuries. Experience family fun through period style games and epic story-telling in this unique form of edutainment!
HOUSE OF STUART

Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots reigned from 1542 to 1567. Come visit and witness the day-to-day lives of those in court and the villages of commoners. Meet Her Grace, Mary Stuart, Scottish lairds and ladies, members of the royal court, visiting dignitaries, seekers of fortune, and the common folk of Scotland!
ILE SAINTE MARIE

The Brethren Court of Île Sainte-Marie is a raucous band of pirates from the Golden Age of piracy. From the garb they wear to the lingo they use as they regale a crowd, this guild is loud, proud and sure to draw the attention of patrons. Visit the court and be wowed by their tales and tidbits of their comrades and sailors alike.
KINGDOM OF COREATHEA

In myth, the Kingdom of Coreathea stood between the years of 1485 and 1603. Come learn of the speech, weapons, combat, garb creation, crafting, and dance of the period. With a love for heraldry, daily Renaissance life, food, games, music, and art, The Kingdom of Coreathea is weclome to those of all ages. Don’t forget your mask for their Masquerade Ball!

The Kingdom of Ourrenland hosts some of the most notorious pirates of the sea! This all-women pirate group is sure to impress anyone with their historical knowledge, garb, and amazing tales of adventure! These pirates are sure to inspire both awe and fear!
LE ORDEN DE SANTIAGO
Location: Hawick Village
Le Orden de Santiago is a Spanish Military institute traveling to war in the Netherlands to fight on behalf of King Philip II. Based in the late 16th century, this guild showcases Spanish military skills and maneuvers as well as musket and cannon demonstrations. In camp, you can participate in daily camp life and learn the history of the guild and weapons.
ORDER OF AZURE ROSE

This chivalric order is sure to impress all patrons. Here you will find pirates, merchants, knights, and nobles among those at the court. Come play games of skill, learn what it means to be a knight, and watch the warriors fight alongside the Hoard against the Black Talon in the Blood of Heroes Tournament!
PRIDE COMBAT
Location: Barbarian’s Bourg
Pride Combat is a travelling caravan of Eastern Europeans selling their wares and entertaining audiences in their boisterous way as they cross Europe. Lead by the Constantin family, they teach about Eastern European culture, family lore, and mystical beliefs. See swordplay, puppet shows, juggling, dancing, and singing all throughout the weekend!
PIRATES OF ROGUES COVE

Here at the Pirates of Rogues Cove, the Golden Age of Piracy (1650-1725) is well underway. Meet both pirates and privateers in this historical learning environment. As the Captain will tell patrons, the Rogues are “specializin’ in improv comedy, wenchin’, drinkin’, and plunderin’… but, when all else fails, start blastin’ away with the cannons!” Be entertained by stories and join in with the mirth!
ROLLING THUNDER

Feel emboldened by the echo of battlefield drums at Rolling Thunder! Prior to modern communications, drums were used to signal armies into battle with cadences and various rhythms. Experience the power of music and feel the thunder of the drums!
SEA DOGS OF FREEPORT

Calling all sailors! The captain of the Sea Dogs welcomes you to join them for games, photo opportunities, a living museum, reenactment, and giveaways for adventurers of all ages! Learn of pirates, of the sea, boats and of artifacts of the past.
SHADOW KINDRED
Location: Barbarian’s Bourg
This 1450’s band of mercenaries was formed under the banner of Sir Kalib, a knight errant who was wrongfully accused of crimes of unrest. He went forth with a vision to support and protect others from injustice. Sir Morgoth, one of Sir Kalib’s fellow combatants, eventually took up the banner to continue his righteous quest.

The Steel Bonnets are a collection of fierce Anglo-Scottish border reivers, foragers, and troops. This group earned their name from their steel caps that they wear during their cross-border raids. They are ready to share their wealth of knowledge regarding survival and exploring, so long as you vow to keep these secrets safe.

WANDERING ROGUES

Here in this quaint seaside village, patrons will find a harbor typically founded by the European nations throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, Easter, and Western Europe from 1700–1850 A.D. Meet members of this village who have lived in it all their life, as well as those who are traveling through. Speak to the mariners who frequent the docks and listen as they share their stories of adventure out at sea.
