ARAGON
Location: Royal Court
Welcome to the Aragon Empire, a realm inspired by the grandeur of A Russian Royal Court. Within its great halls and silk-draped chambers, you’ll find the mighty Varangian Guard, the imposing figure of Ivan the Terrible, and the regal presence of Empress Anastasia. Nobles and honored guests, including King Edward of Mercia and the King and Queen of the Las Vegas Renaissance Fair, all gathered in splendor. Throughout the grounds, guests enjoy games inspired by eras ranging from the Bronze Age to the Renaissance, bringing the spirit of history to life.
On the Field of Honor, the Empire hosts the Blood of Heroes — a fierce and thrilling tournament where teams from across the realm compete in medieval combat for the supremacy of a skull and the glory of their people. Warriors clash in full armor, echoing centuries of tradition and valor. At day’s end, all are welcome at His Imperial Majesty’s All-Thing, where clans from every corner of the realm raise their horns in unity, fellowship, and honor.
BATTLEWOLF

Introducing the renown Battle Wolf. With a crew of rivateers and mercenaries of the sea, the Battle Wolf is filled with a hardened crew you surely do not want to mess with. The Battle Wolf is an armed, privately owned, vessel commissioned for service, loyal to whomever is the highest bidder. In times of war, the ship has been rumored to specialize in the capture of enemy merchant ships. In times of peace, they specialize in transportation (of the discreet nature. No questions asked, although a hefty price is required). No job is too small, and no fee is too high!
BLACKSHIRE COMPANY OF THE SWORD
Location: Hawick Village
The Blackshire’s Company of the Sword portrays Stoddard’s company of Foote, based on a Trained Band of English Militia that existed in the 16th century. What do you know of the pike? The pike is one of the most important weapons of a militia! It is used as a primary weapon, in marches and in combat. Join the enthusiastic company as they discuss the pike and how combat was fought as a block of pike points. Witness the ways that pikes can be used and learn all you can. For who knows when you may have to join a militia and fight on the front lines?

Founded centuries ago by battle-hardened veterans, this secretive organization operates on a strict code of honor and discretion. Their emblem, an open-handed gauntlet, symbolizes their commitment to achieving their objectives by any means necessary. Their unique distinction lies in their inclusive approach: welcoming members from all social classes into their ranks. This ethos has made them a sought-after and feared force in the world of mercenaries, where skill and dedication are the only criteria for acceptance.
CLAN DARKSAIL

The Royal French Privateers of Clan Darksail™ is one of the largest improv acting troupes of pirates for hire in the Southwest United States. For nearly two decades they have been entertaining audiences at Renaissance fairs, pirate festivals, stunt shows and more. They have appeared in numerous TV shows such as “Conquest” for the History Channel, blockbuster Hollywood films including “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and “Master & Commander”, and more recently in promotional films for Ubisoft’s hit game “Assassin’s Creed 4: Under the Black Flag.” They have also appeared in numerous YouTube and Vine videos for content creators and are well known throughout the reenactment community for their exemplary black powder shows and safety record.

DOGS OF WAR

This group of barbarians, hails from all the lands most would consider uncivilized. They are dedicated to fighting to defend their freedom, plunder only what they need, and will bow to no one. Where diplomacy fails, blades and strength will prevail. The Dogs of War say, live free, and die well. They will not back down and will always aim to survive any battle thrown their way!

The Drunken Mermaid is based on the historical tavern, The Sign of the Mermaid, which was established in 1685. The Tavern is located on the corner of Lime Street and High Street across from the Merchant Exchange in Port Royal, Jamaica. Join the patrons and workers of the Drunken Mermaid for fun and revelry. Be immersed in a living embodiment of the 1685 tavern. From the customs, dress, etiquette and lifestyles join these privateers, pirates and their associates in Port Royal, Jamaica during the Golden Age of Piracy (approximately 1660-1735).

The Hobbits of Thorngrove are a fantasy performing troupe who brings to life aspects of 18th century homesteading. With their hand-built hobbit homes, lively demonstrations, and whimsical tokens of luck, patrons can immerse themselves into a shire-like setting that makes anyone feel like a true proudfoot. Patrons can learn historical skills from the guild’s fun and high-spirited cast. The Hobbits of Thorngrove remind patrons to be sure to take some handmade goods home!

The House of the Screaming Banshee is a guild intent on educating the public on the artisan crafts and lifestyles of the seafaring people of the Renaissance Era from the 16th and 17th centuries. The guild’s primary focus is the entertainment of children through period style games and stories.
HOUSE OF STUART

Mary, Queen of Scots reigned from 1542 to 1567. Come visit and witness the day-to-day lives of those in court and the villages of commoners. Meet Her Grace, Mary Stuart, Scottish lairds and ladies, members of the royal court, visiting dignitaries, seekers of fortune, and the common folk of Scotland. Mayhaps patrons will gain a lifelong learning of history.
ILE SAINTE MARIE

Description: The Brethren Court of Île Sainte-Marie is a raucous band of pirates is from the Golden Age of Piracy. From the garb they wear to the lingo they use as they regale a crowd, the guild is loud, proud and sure to draw the attention of patrons. Visit the Brethren Court of Île Sainte-Marie and listen to their tales and tidbits of their comrades and sailors alike.
KINGDOM OF COREATHEA

In myth the Kingdom of Coreathea stood between the years of 1485 and 1603. Come learn of the speech, weapons, combat, garb creation, crafting, and dance of the period. With a love for heraldry, daily Renaissance life, food, games, music, and art, The Kingdom of Coreathea is weclome to those of all ages. Mingling and playing, the members enjoy spending time with patrons from other lands in both their daily travels and at their Masquerade Ball. Don’t forget your mask!

The Kingdom of Ourrenland is sure to impress with their knowledge and garb. The female pirates of history have often been forgotten, but they are just as ruthless as their male counterparts. These pirates are sure to inspire both awe and fear.
LE ORDEN DE SANTIAGO

La Orden de Santiago is a Spanish Military institute, traveling to war in the Netherlands to fight on behalf of King Philip II. Based in the late 16th century, we showcase military skill and unique maneuvers known of Spanish Military. We will showcase our Muskets and Cannons in several demonstrations each day in camp, as well as on the Field of Honor. In camp, you will be able to participate in daily camp life and learn the history of our people and weapons.
ORDER OF AZURE ROSE

This order, The Order of the Azure Rose, is home in the Tudor royal court. Dedicated to “progress” this chivalric order is sure to impress. Patrons will find pirates, merchants, knights, and nobles among those at the court. Come play games of skill, learn what it means to be a knight, and watch the warriors fight alongside the Hoard against the Black Talon in the Blood of Heroes Tournament!
PIRATES OF ROGUES COVE

Here at the Pirates of Rogues Cove, the Golden Age of Piracy (1650-1725) is wll underway. Meet both pirates and privateers in a historical learning environment. As the Captain will tell patrons the Rogues are “specializin’ in improv comedy, wenchin’, drinkin’, and plunderin’… but, when all else fails, start blastin’ away with the cannons!” Be entertained by stories and join in with the mirth.
PRIDE COMBAT

Pride Combat is a travelling caravan of Eastern Europeans selling their wares and entertaining audiences in their boisterous way as they cross Europe. Lead by the Constantin family, they teach about Eastern European culture, family lore, and mystical beliefs. See swordplay, puppet shows, juggling, dancing, and singing all through the weekend!
RAVENSHOLD
Location: Pirates Port
Ravenshold is a Nordic guild from the Viking Era of Northern Europe and Scandinavia. Set in, approximately, 793 CE with the destruction of the Lindisfarne Abbey, to the battle of Hastings in 1066 AD, this group teaches of nordic life. Come see the daily lives of the famous Norsemen, who are often hidden by the tales of their battle prowess. Join Ravenshold for traditional Viking games such as Kubb, nine pins, chess, and the traditional Hnefatafl. On Friday, all are welcome to join for games, and we operate as both a water and stamp hunt stop. At 8 P.M., gather outside our encampment to see our guild perform a 25th anniversary vow renewal in the form of a traditional Viking Handfasting. On Saturday, come join us for crafting from 2-5 P.M.!
ROLLING THUNDER

Do you hear the echo of drums across the battlefield? Are you emboldened preparing for imminent combat or do you find the embrace of fear? Will you stand strong or dissert your post? Prior to modern communications, nearly every army signaled their troops through varying drumbeats and cadences. Join Rolling Thunder to learn how to flank an enemy, hold a shiled wall, and march at double time: all signaled through the rhythm of a drum. Come one, come all to view and learn of the battle drums of innumerable wars throughout history. Play one or all of the 30+ drums.

The Wandering Rogues are home to many. Here in this quaint seaside village patrons will find a harbor typically founded by the European nations throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, Easter, and Western Europe from the 1700–1850 A.D. Meet members of this village who have lived in it all their life, as well as those who are traveling through. Speak to the mariners who frequent the docks and listen as they share their stories of adventure out at sea.
